Overall measurements: 125cm across the top, 129cm across the bottom, 192cm the left hand side, 196cm the right hand side. Good condition overall, pile dense even and closely sheared, approx. 1.5mm. A handful of minute areas of spot re-piling scattered in the field. Very well executed and are only visible under close inspection. Sidecords probably re-overcast. Ends with fringes closely trimmed and with overlocking. Upper end with approx. 1cm of warp fringing, lower end with fringes trimmed close to pile, as visible from photograph. A charming example of the genre.
