Overall measurements: 174cm across the top, 176cm across the bottom, 257cm the left hand side, 257cm the right hand side. Nice flexible handle. The outer surround and outlining is a deep aubergine (not dark brown) with some corroding as visible from the image. Pile is generally even 3mm overall. Further oxidisation to the light tan, as seen in the inner guards and trigram. There is some associated minor wear but overall in very good condition, with some very minor spot re-piling in the lower motifs in the inner half of the field. Ends trimmed warps and overlocking. An unusual design.
