Condition
Overall measurements: 109cm across the top, 107cm across the bottom, 212cm the left hand side, 212cm the right hand side. Pile generally low with knotbars visible and spot warps. Both end borders have had re-piling and are probably rebuilt from approximately halfway along their width. There is some re-piling in the sideborders in localised areas. Later sidecords. Restoration has been very well executed to keep the integrity of the rug and is only visible under close examination. Further images can be requested from the department. A charming piece which is a little lighter in tone than in the printed catalogue.
