Condition
Detailed measurements: 216cm across the top; 218cm across the bottom; 567cm on the left hand side; 565cm on the right hand side. Pile generally good for age, variable from 4mm down to 2mm, with localised areas of wear to knotheads. focused in the areas of slightly lighter blue abrash in the field; slight oxidisation to the taupe colour in the palmette edges and some trees. Scattered repiling and small reweaves, commensurate with age. Outer guard stripes partially rebuilt, and section of upper border on right hand side approximately 10cm square rewoven, new side cords. Very attractive colouring and design, an elegant carpet.
