Overall measurements: 141cm across the top, 142cm across the bottom, 200cm the left hand side, 199cm the right hand side. Fragmentary. Dense pile, ranging from 3mm in greens and pinks with dark browns oxidised giving attractive differential in height, and areas of localised wear to knotbars for example a small section in the upper left hand side of the field. All four corners have later re-woven sections the largest approximately 10 by 3cm and the smallest 2.5 by 1cm. Vestiges of knotted fringing on lower edge. Later sidecords. Would benefit from a professional clean. A rare example of its type.
