Overall measurements: cm across the top, cm across the bottom, cm the left hand side, cm the right hand side. Please note image in printed catalogue is upside down, please refer to Sothebys.com for correct orientation. Overall in very good condition. Pile approximately 10-12mm long generally with corrosion to the walnut brown where the pile is more like 2-3mm. Lustrous wool and intense colours. Original sidecords. Original blue plain weave at each en, tidied and straightened with warp fringes and secured with blanket stitch. Dense and even weave. Small amount of localised wear in centre of lower hooked vine border with some re-knotting to the outer guard. Charming piece and lovely small size.
