Given by Archduke Rainier Ferdinand of Austria (1827-1913) and his wife, Archduchess Marie Caroline of Austria (1825-1915), to Archduchess Marie Anne of Austria (1882-1940) on the occasion of her wedding to Prince Elie de Bourbon-Parme (1880-1959) in 1903.
Princess Marie Anne de Bourbon Parme states in her inventory:
"Un écrin cuir beige avec plaque en diamants (de Köchert). Cette plaque m'a été donnée par l'Archiduc Rénier et sa femme pour mon mariage".
