the ogee-sided funnel bowl finely engraved with portrait of Friedrich I, below the motto VIVAT FRIDERICUS BORUSSORUM REX, flanked by allegorical figures emblematic of victory and justice, the reverse with the Prussian royal arms

Condition

the cover possibly a contemporary match, both goblet and cover have a faint amethyst tint, but the engraving of the borders differs slightly. The cover sits on the goblet quite loosely but is overall of reasonable appearance, minute chipping to edge of foot rim and flange of cover, some scattered minute chipping to rim of goblet
