the first with guard applied in paste and gilt with crowned monogram M, the sticks pierced and gilded over mother of pearl with trophies and bucolic lovers, the paper leaf painted with an animated May day celebration, signed: Camille; and a smaller example with pierced and gilded sticks and guards, the spangled silk leaf painted with a proposal between trophies and scrollwork, signed: Donzel

Condition

Two small wholes close to the upper rim of in the paper leaf, one tear of 1 cm length to the right end, the silver flower above the central panel on the sticks slightly damaged, the gilt of the guard partially missing; the silk leaf of the second with several tears and stains, the surface loose in various places, wear to the gilding of the sticks.
