painted with bands of flowers on plain and yellow grounds reserved against a violet ground gilt with dot and berried leaf pattern sections, blue interlaced L's marks enclosing date letters qq, painter's mark for Hirel de Choisy, gilder's mark for Girard

Condition

Slight rubbing to gilding on handles and a small blemish to the rim of the saucer. Cup: 8cm. high, 10.5cm. diameter [with handles], 3in., 4 1/4in. Saucer: 16.5cm. diameter, 16 1/2in.
