11-inch twenty-five piece cartouche enamel dial, the centre signed Gille l'Aine A Paris, the movement with verge escapement and silk suspension, numbered outside count wheel striking on a bell, signed on the backplate as the dial, the waisted case surmounted by a naked female seated on an eagle and veneered in brown shell inlaid with floral and foliate panels, with foliate mounts and scroll feet, ornament on the front door missing; with a conforming bracket

Condition

PROSPECTIVE PURCHASERS SHOULD INSPECT IN PERSON. Dial has hair cracks to 15 & 30 and chip to I, otherwise good. Movement is complete but very dirty and not running and needs clean and service. Case is lacking gilt mount to front door, many old losses, and lifting inlay particularly to the sides and inside of rear door, top figure loose. Bracket as the case. With pendulum and case key but no winder.
