Condition

Overall the condition of the wood is good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The figure of the angel holding a crown is loose. A small part of the canopy on the same side has broken off and is also loose. The angel on the right has been reattached. The central spire at the top has been carved separately and is slightly loose. There are minor losses to some of the wood crockets and finials on the pinnacles, and glue residue is visible in some areas, including to the pinnacles on the left and right side, to the base of the Angel on the right and to below the figure of the Virgin. There is tarnishing to the rosary. The condition of the case is good, with some discolouration to the fabric lining on the inside and the lace on the outside.
