with a spreading foot rising to a baluster body, the exterior decorated with panels of flowering plants issuing from craggy rockwork, with further smaller panels of flowers at the neck, the domed cover similarly painted and surmounted with a knopped finial

Condition

The jar and cover are in good condition with the exception of a 1.5x2cm., rim chip with associated 12cm., long two-pronged hairline rim crack, another two-pronged hairline rim crack (one prong extending 12cm., down to the shoulder), the cover has a 9x3cm., crescent-shaped section of over-painting to the rim, and light glaze scratches and minor glaze firing imperfections to jar and cover.
