The arms are those of Saxony, for Frederick Christian (1722-1763) who became elector in 1763 and died in the same year. In 1747 he married Maria Antonia of Bavaria (1724-1780) daughter of Emperor Charles VII. A gifted composer she became regent of Saxony until her son Frederick August's 18th birthday in 1768.
