in the form of a mother-of-pearl and hardstone-inlaid double-gourd on a double-lotus base, surmonted by a stem supporting a large lotus flower, the emblems missing, pierced and mounted as lamps (2)

Condition

There is wear to the gilding and losses to the enamels on both emblems. The stones/mother of pearl inlays may have been replaced later. Some rising parts (petals, balustrades) had been pushed in. Both bases are drilled for electricity and the electrical mountings are still visible.
