Condition

It has not been possible to see the work entirely unframed. The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals a tiny dot of retouching towards the centre of the composition. There are a few spots of fluorescence in the cream pigment, which do not appear to be related to retouching. There are a few minor lines of craquelure in places. There is some minor paint shrinkage in places, notably in the blue pigment to the carafe. There are a few tiny scattered fly spots and a few minor dots of faint dirt in places. There is some slight frame rubbing along the extreme edges. This work is in overall very good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
