It has not been possible to see the work entirely unframed. The canvas is not lined and is slightly loose. Examination under UV light reveals no evidence of retouching. There is some minor paint shrinkage, most predominately to the upper part of the right edge, and some thin lines of stable craquelure, notably towards the bridge and to the sky. There are a few scattered fly spots and some superficial fibrous remnants in places. This work is in overall very good condition and could benefit from a light clean.
