Very good condition overall. Minor chips, scratches, marks and abrasions throughout consistent with the object’s age and use within the culture. Many cracks in line with the grain of the wood throughout the figure. Head broken at neck and repaired, old break. Abrasion to the tip of the beak. Some of the fibre holding removable part in place is broken. Some old encrusted patina in places. Korrigane inv. no. D 39.3/ 155 handwritten in gold on inside. Small label bearing Elizabeth Pryce collection inv. no. EP-140. "1583" handwritten in black on inside, and "401" handwritten in white on inside.
