The suite, comprising two etchings and aquatints, 1937, each with the stamped signature and numbered in pencil 247/850 (there is also a pencil signed edition of 150 on chine collé on japon ancien), on Montval laid paper, published by the artist, with one page of the original text and half of the original wove wrapper with the label pasted on the cover (2 prints)

The prints are in good condition apart from faint mat-stain, slightly darker at the sheet edges. The stamped signatures slightly faded. Each with an inconspicuous approximately 50 mm vertical crease in the image at lower center and a few small soft creases and spots of surface soiling in the margins. An occasional tiny pale fox mark and plate 1 with a dark fox mark at center. The versos with hinge remnants along the upper sheet edges. The text page slightly discolored and folded (as issued). Also with a few fox marks and two small tears in the right sheet edge. The wrapper with mat-stain, some creasing and splitting at the seams. A brown stain on the left edge of the label.
