Condition

The Virgin and Child Enthroned Between Saint Catherina of Siena and Saint Margaret: trimmed on or just within the plate mark, minor repairs mainly at corners with touches of pen and ink, a few short horizontal repaired tears at left (the longest measuring 7mm), a soft central horizontal fold (mainly visible verso), a few very pale stains, other minor defects, unframed. Terpsichore (Terpsicore XIII): with thread margins or trimmed to the plate mark (slightly unevenly at left and right), repaired areas towards the right edge, lower right corner (the tip made-up) and upper left corner with associated thinning in places, the upper left sheet edge made-up, the subject remaining intact, a diagonal crease across the lower part of Terpischore, a loss at the extreme lower left corner tip, overall discoloration, lesser defects, unframed. The Erythraean Sibyl: with a narrow margin at the top, a thread margin at right, trimmed to or just within (somewhat unevenly) the plate mark at left, and on the plate mark at bottom, in good condition apart from some minor surface dirt, a tiny fox mark to the left of subject mainly visible verso, unframed. The Adoration of the Magi: with thread margins or trimmed on the plate mark, in good condition apart from an unobtrusive re-attached strip at the upper left corner (approx. 30 by 5mm.), the extreme lower right corner re-attached, slight paper thinning at the sheet corners due to old mounting, a tiny brown stain upper right, unframed. Adoration of the Shepherds: retaining a narrow margin outside the irregular borderline, in good condition, unframed. Adoration of the Magi: retaining a narrow margin outside the scalloped borderline, in good condition apart from a horizontal and vertical crease visible verso, a small stain lower right corner, a few further stains visible verso when held up to the light, unframed.
