Condition

These photographs are in generally excellent condition. The following are visible on several of the mounts: excess dry-mounting tissue, slightly visible at the perimeter of the print; occasional minor soiling on the front and/or reverse; and softly bumped corners. 'Repair Shop, Christopher Street,' 1947: The upper right edge and corner of the mount is slightly creased. '3800' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse. 'Department of Docks and Police Station,' 1936: The scattered horizontal lines and spots that are visible mostly in the sky area appear to be features of the negative and not on the print. '3600' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse. 'Parafoti,' 1936: '3200' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse. 'Greyhound Bus Terminal,' 1936: '4000' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse. 'Poultry Shop,' 1935: '3200' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse. 'Tri-boro Barber School,' 1935: There is a barely discernible red deposit at the lower left corner of the mount. '3400' is written in an unidentified hand in pencil on the reverse.
