This photograph, on paper with a slight surface sheen, is in generally excellent condition. When examined in raking light, the following are visible: a few small superficial scratches that do not appear to break the emulsion in the upper right quadrant; scattered deposit of original retouching; and faint silvering at the periphery. The photograph is mounted to buff-colored card. The mount is age-darkened overall except for a thin band at the periphery of the print and along the left and lower edges of the mount. There is scattered faint rust-colored foxing. A thin excess of dry-mounting tissue is visible on the mount along the upper and lower edges of the print. There are fingerprints on the reverse of the mount. When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
