Condition

This early, rare print is in generally excellent condition. Upon close examination, there are a few tiny deposits of retouching and a small linear impression in the lower left above the mountain range. There is a very tiny chip in the emulsion along the upper right edge. The mount is soiled in the upper right and slightly lighter in tone around the periphery of the print. There is yellow-brown staining along the edges of the mount. The negative number written in pencil in the upper left corner is partially trimmed and is therefore not entirely legible. There are a few scattered scuffs and yellowing on the reverse of the mount overall. When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
