Overall the condition of the silver is good, with minor wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is rubbing to the gilding at the high points. There is minor tarnishing to the silver, notably at the legs. Stable original joints are slightly visible to the undersides of the arms and both sides of the torso. There are a few very small lacunae. There is a small hole to the perizonium at the back. There are several minor nicks and scratches. The later fabric covered mount is loose, and there is wear, including fraying.
