Condition

Overall the condition of the panels is good, with some wear and dirt to the surface consistent with age. There is light staining to the glass throughout, as well as minor pitting, consistent with the material. There is some splitting to the glass pieces, in particular to the bottom half of the panel with the Resurrection, and the bottom left and right hand side of the panel with the Crucifixion. For the most part these are stable, but one small section in the bottom half of the Resurrection panel is slightly loose. The wood frames are in good condition, with minor general wear. The panels are accompanied by wooden light boxes, which are electrified with non-European plugs. Sotheby's does not guarantee the functioning of these.
