Overall the condition of the lead is good with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The polychromy is probably largely original with some refreshments, such as possibly to the proper right shoulder. Minor losses to the polychromy such as at the fingers. There is stable craquelure to the paint. Some fingers could have been reattached. There are minor stable fissures, including to the proper right arm and between the legs. The figure may have fallen forward at some point since the hair at the front is slightly flattened and the neck has sunken slightly into the chest. Proper right foot slightly warped.
