Condition

Overall the condition of the bronze is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is minor rubbing to the lacquer patina at the high points. There are several minor spots of tarnishing to the gilding. There is also some dark spotting to the lacquer patina of Jupiter in areas, including around the buttocks. Original stable joints are slightly visible at Jupiter's upper arms. There is a small area of scratching to Jupiter's proper right hip. There is minor general wear to the marble socle.
