Condition
Overall, the condition of the brass is good, with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is an original square opening to the back of the lion and the base is open below the lower body of the lion. There is greening to the brass in areas, in particular to the crevices of the face, mane and paws. There are minor nicks and scratches to the surface throughout. There is some tarnishing in areas, including to the proper left flank and legs.
