Condition
Overall the condition of the wood is good, with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is evidence of past worming to both reliefs, in particular to the one with the man. The worming has led to some losses, including around the rim, to the beard, and to the truncation. There are holes for mounting to both reliefs. There is some stable splitting to the wood, consistent with the material. There are various minor nicks and scratches to the surface.
