Overall the condition of the wood is good, with minor dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There is a joint at the neck, with pins on the reverse. There is very minor evidence of past worming to the wood, particularly on Christ's proper left side and to the throne.The attribute in Christ's hand is partially lost. There is some slight stable splitting to the wood, consistent with the material, including same slighlty open splits at Christ's feet and to the proper right side of the throne. There is wear to the gilding and polychromy in areas, including to the proper right hand and the toes. There is some flaking to the polychromy, including to the high points of the drapery. There is a loss to the polychromy with dark staining at the drapery around the proper right knee.
