The panel is comprised of a single board with all edges beveled that is uncradled. The painting presents a delicate image that is slightly abraded on certain areas, such as along the line that runs at center right, above the circular columns of the second lever of the palace. There are a few pindots of loss on the central foreground at right of the palace. A few small dots of retouches are on the white foam of the water at right, and on the top bit of the moon. Painting can hang in its present state and is offered in a giltwood frame with a sandy texture.
