Acquired directly from the artist in Calcutta on 24 April 1972 

There is wear and pigment losses in the work notably in areas of white paint such as the cows, armbands of the two figures and the decorative pillars; the blue of Krishna and the signature. Two pin sized holes along the left edge. Some water stains and discoloration in the red background appear inherent. This work has not been inspected outside its frame.
