Quest'opera è registrata presso la Fondazione Marino Marini, Pistoia, con il n. 535 ed è accompagnata da certificato su fotografia)The figure of the horse is a constant thread in the artistic production of Marino Marini, resurfacing each time under a new guise, with new dimensions and in a different material. This gouache work is highly stylised, as though the artist were searching for a means to arrive at the very essence of representation, after years of faithfully rendering the world figuratively. Several dispersed strokes, are enough to powerfully and clearly communicate the image of this animal which the artist held so dear.(Marino Marini ha sempre inserito nella sua produzione artistica il cavallo, declinato in ogni forma, dimensione e materiale. The sale proceeds for this lot will benefit philanthropic activities.(Il ricavo della vendita di questo lotto sarà destinato ad attività filantropiche.)
