This sort of wood and silver cup shaped as grape-picker is rare and were often ordered by rich vineyards owners in the Rhine area, German part of Switzerland and Alsace. They would actually have been used during the often riotous guild dinners where the akwardness of drinking from the basket (Butte) would have added immeasurably for the fun.
