the carriage with a coachman on his raised seat, five figures inside including one sitting on a throne, another being bitten with a stick, on red velvet base inlaid with silver plaques chased with flowers and foliage, the whole piece inlaid with colour stones, turquoises and garnets
Condition
In overall very good condition. Illegible marks on many places. Inscribed on the back of the carriage: "L'IMPERADORE DEL GIORNOE DISEGNATO ED ESEGVITOE DA LVGAGNOLA DA IESVI E.RIALTO VENERIA MVXCIIII". Possibly Hanau. Large size, very decorative.
