拍品資料及來源

First published in 1497. Miguel de Eguia reprinted this expanded and updated version in 1530 and again in 1533, together with a Castilian translation, which had the text printed in gothic type instead of roman. Marineo is assumed to have died shortly after the publication of this edition. The section on the Catholic Kings includes the acquisition of the Canary Islands and the discovery of the New World (by one "Petrus Colonus"), in which he mistakenly claimed that a coin of the Emperor Augustus had been found in a gold mine in the Indies.
