The sheet is adhered to the mount with two strips of tape to each of the upper corners and a strip along the lower edge. The mount covers 4cm. of the sheet. There is a piercing toward the upper edge of the sheet with some staining, not visible in the present mount. The sheet undulates in places and has some light creasing towards the corners and the left, lower and upper edges. There is a probable historic and restored vertical tear at the lower part of the left edge, not wholly visible in the present mount. There are one or two nicks to the extreme edges of the sheet, not visible in the present mount. The sheet is housed within an acidic mount and frame and there is corresponding staining. There are small flecks of foxing to the sheet and one or two accretions. The work is window mounted and held behind glass in a painted wooden frame.
