The sheet appears to have been affixed to a mounting card in a number of places around its edges, and this has in turn been adhered to the backboard. The sheet undulates slightly throughout. There is some slight cockling to the extreme right edge. There a number of nicks, and restored tears to the extreme edges of the sheet. There are also some soft creases to the sheet, most noticeable in the lower right and upper left corners. There is some foxing to the sheet. There is also some time staining. There is craquelure and flecks of paint loss throughout, however this is most prevalent in the orange and black pigments. There is surface dirt, studio matter and handling marks throughout the sheet.
