Condition
The sheet has been fully laid down on a supportive backing board. The right edge has been unevenly cut. There are some nicks to the edges of the sheet. There is evidence of frame abrasion to all four edges, and there are some noticeable losses in the upper left corner, and along the left edge, none of which are visible in the present mount. There is some evidence of fading to the sheet, mainly to the extreme edges and not visible in the current mount. There are some areas of staining to the lower right corner. There is some possible water staining in the lower left quadrant and in one or two further places. There is some evidence of foxing to the sheet. There is some studio matter and surface dirt. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The work is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple wooden frame.
