Condition

The sheet has been fully laid down onto card, which is, in turn, adhered to a wooden support. There is a horizontal cut to the right of the extreme upper edge with a small diagonal tear to the same area. There is very slight rounding to the upper right corner with one or two more minor instances to the right edge. There are two pinhead sized dents in the lower right quadrant, one with a very small fleck of associated loss, only visible upon close inspection. There is foxing throughout the sheet and time staining, surface dirt and small instances of surface detritus. This excepting, the work appears in good overall condition. The work is floated and held behind glass in a painted wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
