Condition
The sheet is fully laid down on to the backing board. There is a paper maker's stamp in the upper left corner. The sheet is slightly unevenly cut along the upper and left edges. There is a small fleck of loss in the black pigment at the left edge, towards the lower third. There is some reticulation in the red rectangular pigment towards the right of centre. There are some very fine lines of craquelure in the thicker areas of gouache, only visible upon close inspection. There is some surface dirt and studio matter in places. This excepting the work appears to be in excellent overall condition. The work is float mounted and held behind glass within a linen slip and wooden frame.
