In Le Poinçon de Paris, p. 269, Nocq records Choconain-Delaunay at Pont au Change until 1787 and notes a theft from him, on February 17, 1782, which included 18 gold boxes for men and women, 12 etuis, 30 cane handles and jewelry. The culprit was not found.
