each of barrel form, the top pierced with a cash medallion, the rim modeled with drapery and hanging tassels glazed in amber, the mid-section with four pierced lion mask handles

Condition

One with a long crack with associated restoration and overpainting rising from the foot and curving half way up the stool measuring approx. 17 in. (38.1 cm). The other with a Y shaped star crack to the lower third of the stool, with the longest prong measuring approx. 6 in. (15.3 cm), and 1 more hairline rising from the foot measuring approx 6 3/4 in. (17.1 cm). There are significant patches of glaze flaking to one section of this stool, with the largest area measuring approx. 3 1/2 in. by 1 1/2 in. (8.9 by 3.8 cm). Both with some losses to the bottom molded florettes and some losses to the eyebrows and noses of the lion mask handles. Both with scattered chips and pitting particularly to the lower halves. Both tops with abrasion to the glaze.
