possibly later enameled, each of quatrefoil section, the heavily potted body rising from a tall foot to a rounded shoulder and upright lobed neck with a lipped rim, later-enameled in the famille-verte palette and gilt with blossoming peony and prunus between decorative bands at the foot and shoulder, the quatrefoil domed cover similarly decorated and surmounted by a bud-shaped knop

Condition

Both covers restored, and the neck of one vase also restored. The decoration on both vases overpainted except for the gilding, and both vases with firing imperfections and wear to the surface, ans well as fritting and chips. They both lean slightly to one side.
