A series of almost identical tables vide-poche was made by the Luxembourg-born royal cabinetmaker Bernard Molitor (1755-1833, maître 1787), two of which are illustrated in Ulrich Leben, Ebéniste from the ancien régime to the Bourbon Restoration (London 1990), p.179 and 203.  One of these is in the Carnegie Museum of Art, Pittsburgh. A related version is in the Musée Jacquemart-André, Paris (Pallot and Saint Fare Garnot, Le mobilier français du musée Jacquemart-André, Dijon 2006, cat.58 p.194-95).
Similar models of tables with lyre standards and the distinctive 'trellis and dot' parquetry pattern were made by several other Louis XVI era ébénistes including RVLC, Carlin, and Riesener, who supplied a version to Marie-Antoinette at St. Cloud, now in the Musée Nissim de Camondo, Paris (ill. N. Gasc and G. Mabille, The Nissim de Camondo Museum, Paris 1991, p.38).  A comparable table stamped RVLC for Roger Lacroix was sold Sotheby's London, May 3, 2018, lot 61, and a further example by RVLC was sold Sotheby's New York, Property from the Collections of Lily and Edmond J. Safra, October 18-21, 2011, lot 994.
