each modeled with the animal standing four-square, the ears flaring by the shoulders, the trunk lifting and curling to the knee of a foreleg, the tail swishing to one side, underglaze-blue 'mon' roundels enclosing various patterns distributed across the white body

Condition
Both in overall good condition, with minor wear (including very small flake chips to the feet) and firing imperfections, including scattered firing lines and tiny burst glaze bubbles. One elephant with a small loss (from firing) to the interior of one foot, a rough patch at the underside of the trunk, and a small glaze flake on the right side of the belly.
