the tall vase with everted neck decorated in a Kakiemon style palette of green, yellow, blue and black enamels, with a figurative scene depicting the Chinese tale of the Tang poet Li Bo, who made the eunuch Gao Lischi remove his boot in the Imperial presence

Condition

There is a repair to the rim, with a piece approx. 8 cm. long, broken out and repaired. There is an area of restoration from the rim going into the top of the vase. There is a star crack to the base, and an area of glaze crazing around the everted foot.
