all the plate components apart from the kobire and tekko, including the helmet, made to simulate iron, formed from hardened leather lacquered in sabiage and in gold lacquer laced with blue, white, orange, and pale green braid, the maedate in the form of wisteria mon, with mon also on the mabisashi [peak], do, gyoyo, tekko, sode, and shikoro, with armour box

Condition

The helmet bowl has some slight cracks to the surface layer of the iron and lifting in places. The stencilled leather is worn to the peak and turnbacks. The shikiro has some old repairs. The do, sode and sleeves are in fair condition with some old chips to the lacquer, slightly frayed lacing and some ware to the linings of the sleeves. The lacquer mempo has some cracks to the interior and some small lacquer losses. Please note all armours by the nature of their use and age have some old wear overall. The armour box has old wear and damage consistent with the age and use of the object.
