the circular kogo, decorated in gold, silver and red hiramaki-e, and takamaki-e, hirame, gold foil and nashiji and inlaid in mother-of-pearl with tea ceremony utensils, including a chaire inside a brocade bag, a kogo and bamboo tea scoop

Condition

There is a small area of glaze loss to the base, but this probably occurred in the firing. There are some small areas of lacquer loss to the black lacquer cover, particularly to the rim. There are some old scratches and surface wear.
