A similar example can be found in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, illustrated in the Catalogue of a Special Exhibition of Ch’ing Dynasty Monochrome Porcelains in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1981, pl. 1; and another in the Palace Museum, Beijing, illustrated in The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum: Monochrome Porcelain, Hong Kong, vol. 37, 1999, pl. 15; both are described as Guanyin zun and attributed to the Kangxi period. Another related example previously in the E.T. Hall Collection, inv. no. 184, was sold at Christie's London, 7^th June 2004, lot 150.
